My toddler actually holds onto this cup instead of throwing it, which is a small miracle. The simple shape makes it easy for little hands to grip, and she's getting more confident sipping on her own every day.
My 14-month-old figured out the grip almost immediately, and that smooth surface makes it easy for her to hold without slipping mid-sip. She’s actually started reaching for it on her own, which feels like a small win for both of us.
My 18-month-old actually holds onto this instead of flinging it off the tray, which says a lot. The shape is smooth enough that her little fingers can wrap around it, and she's getting the hang of tipping it up on her own.
